Woman sues Lil Wayne and TSU
Kentucky woman who claims she was injured last year at a rap concert at Tennessee State University is suing the school, rapper Lil Wayne and Memphis man for $150,000.
In the lawsuit, which was filed last week in Davidson County Circuit Court, Candice Smith, of Lexington, said she was knocked down by a surge of fans almost as as soon as Lil’ Wayne hit the stage at Gentry Center.

Nas Shrugs Off Kelis Arrest, Gets His ‘Greedy On’ With Tour, New Album
Nas has already had an active 2007. He’s still releasing singles from Hip Hop Is Dead, he’s hitting the road for a 26-date tour and he’s planning to release his next album in the summer or fall.
But there’s one part of the year he’d rather just forget. His wife, singer Kelis, was arrested a couple of weeks ago in Miami after shouting at undercover police officers (see “Kelis Charged With Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest”). Nas simply shrugged the incident off with a chuckle.
“It’s a lot of sh– out there circulating about her that she finds pretty funny,” the MC said Thursday. “It’ll be cleared up soon.”
